Fueling Innovation Through Funding

Duke I&E received nearly $3.1M in new philanthropic commitments in FY25. Duke I&E is advancing strategic fundraising priorities in the MADE FOR THIS campaign that expand access and amplify impact. Funding Priorities Include:

  • Duke I&E Leadership: Endow the Duke I&E Director position to secure long-term vision and impact
  • Courses, Faculty & Experiential Programs: Recruit world-class educators and expand real-world learning opportunities
  • Empowering Innovators: Educate and support students to navigate technology commercialization and bring their ideas to impact
  • Innovation in Instruction: Explore new learning models in emerging fields and technologies

I&E didn't just teach me how to build, it reminded me why we build. To challenge what exists, to chase what's next, and to turn bold ideas into reality-- because the future does not wait for perfect ideas.

Be a part of Duke I&E's Success

FY25 has shown what’s possible when bold ideas meet real-world action. We invite you to join Duke I&E’s work in three important ways:

  • Connect: Attend our events, share your expertise with students and alumni, read our newsletter, explore our website, engage on Instagram, and join the conversation on the Duke I&E LinkedIn group.
  • Invest: A philanthropic gift to Duke I&E is an investment in the power of entrepreneurship and innovation to change the world. You can make a gift online or contact Erin Gasch, Senior Director of External Relations, to learn more about ways to support Duke I&E.
  • Advocate: Help Duke I&E continue to show the world that entrepreneurship and innovation are alive and growing at Duke. Talk about our amazing community of founders, funders, and innovators who are realizing success in their endeavors, and share good news back with Duke I&E so we can continue to grow our network.
