Alice S. Hamilton Evert is the Staff Assistant for the education segment of the Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, and provides administrative support to members of the education team.
Prior to joining the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, Alice focused her time on the practice of affordable housing and community economic development law, with a specialty in multifamily housing finance. In addition to representing housing finance lenders, community non-profits, small business owners, and creative entrepreneurs, Alice was a clinical teaching fellow in the Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic at The George Washington University Law School.
Alice has a bachelor’s degree in Classics with a minor in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a law degree from American University Washington College of Law. She is passionate about fostering creativity and excited to be a part of the vibrant Duke community.
