Nancy Gump-White is the staff assistant for the Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative. Nancy works with the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative team performing administrative duties and helping with special events.

Nancy attended Ball State University and the Institute of Personal and Business Insurance. Nancy has worked in the banking industry, credit management, the insurance industry and in manufacturing. She has worked for more than 30 years as a teacher and coordinator of programs for confirmation and youth groups in the Catholic Diocese of Indiana, Florida and North Carolina.

Nancy spent nine years working for Duke University at the Fuqua School of Business in the roles of faculty assistant for the marketing, operations, management and strategy departments and coordinator for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovations, including the CEI advisory board and Innovation Working Group. Before coming to the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative in October 2013, Nancy worked as the administrative associate for the major gift officers in development and alumni relations at Fuqua School of Business.
