The Duke I&E Startup Sprint is your chance to gain critical tools, expert guidance, and a powerful community to help you launch your venture with confidence. This program is right for you if you are: -Serious about turning your startup idea into an actual venture -Eager to test, refine, and validate your concept -Looking for accountability, feedback, and a like-minded founder network -A member of the Duke student or alumni community Program structure includes six virtual sessions via Zoom. This high-impact, six-week sprint will help you: 1. Understand your customers' real needs: Wednesday, May 21, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm 2. Define and refine the problem you're solving: Wednesday, May 28, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm 3. Analyze competitors and uncover your edge: Wednesday, June 4, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm 4. Test assumptions before you build: Wednesday, June 11, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm 5. Form a strong, motivated team: Wednesday, June 18, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm 6. Craft a clear, actionable roadmap: Wednesday, June 25, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Registration process and fees: The Duke I&E Startup Sprint is free for current Duke students, faculty, and staff. Duke alumni may participate in the program for a fee of $75. This fee includes access to the Startup Sprint Network, learning tools, and resources.
