Community, Exposure & Prizes for Duke’s Top Student Founders

Every year, Duke I&E brings together the entrepreneurial community to celebrate the amazing progress being made by Duke student founders—and to forge valuable new connections among students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends. From a competitive pool of applicants, Duke I&E gives a select group of students the opportunity to spotlight their ventures, network with the Duke community, and compete for non-dilutive cash prizes.

On April 11 from 4-6:30pm at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, come see what exciting student ventures are being created at Duke. Meet founders working on the Next Big Thing—get a sample of Aurganics Skincare from Sarah Houston ’24, talk with Casey Goldstein ’24 about his platform connecting young alumni with climate jobs, check out amazing Infinity Portal displays created by Jaylen Coleman E’24, and much more. Then vote for the venture you think should take home the $5K Best in Showcase prize!

4:00 - 5:30: Tabling by ~30 student teams in Kirby Winter Garden and ongoing voting for Audience Choice Award; snacks and drinks will be served

5:30: Adjourn to Geneen Auditorium for awards ceremony

5:40: Remarks from Duke I&E Director Jamie Jones, followed by pitches and awards

“The Startup Showcase was the perfect culmination to my entrepreneurial journey at Duke. The fantastic turnout of students, alumni, and others in the Duke and Durham community led to valuable connections with supporters, investors, and other founders.”

Michelle Addison MBA '23, Founder & CEO, Allergood
