Clinton Global Initiative University is 3 day conference for change makers around the world to gather in one room to share ideas, inspire and get inspired. During the weekend hosted by the Clinton Foundation at Northeastern university, the days were segmented into different keynotes, plenary sessions, working sessions as well as interactive poster exchanges and competitions. The discussions centred around community building in a divided world, opportunities for refugees and designing a sustainable future. Some of the great names who spoke at the conference included President Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Congressman Joe Kennedy and Lisa Jackson.

As a representative of Duke University and co-founder of mNaukri- a job placement application for slum residents- I was extremely enthralled to receive the Commitment certificate signed by President Clinton and presented by David Gergen, Faculty Director at the Harvard Kennedy School at the ’Strengthening Organizational Capacity’ skill session. It was a privilege to receive the opportunity to share my passion and progress on stage.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Duke I&E for always supporting me and providing amazing opportunities to meet leaders from around the globe at platforms such as CGIU. A weekend packed with energy, enthusiasm and encouragement to change the world. #CGIU2017 #CommitmentMakers #Ideas2Action
