In August the Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative takes its next big step, moving to Downtown Durham to join the incredible vibrancy that has come to the area over the last several years. Over 12,000 net square feet of space will house the I&E staff, and includes office, conference, classroom and meeting space. The new space, the result of a generous gift from David Rubenstein T’70, will be THE hub of entrepreneurial activity for the entire Duke community, the new Duke Angel Network, and for Downtown Durham.
Our goal now is to find a name as exciting as our new space. The name should reflect the unique character of both Duke and Durham and reflect the entrepreneurial spirit of Duke, both in its history and its ambition. Will you help us by entering your ideas into a I&E building naming contest? The winning entry – to be selected by a committee of the I&E staff – will receive a $1,000 Visa Gift Card and VIP invitation to the August 27th ribbon cutting and grand opening.

The competition closes at midnight, Friday July 31st.
