On March 1st, SEAD, I&E, CASE, and DSISE held the Social Entrepreneurship 101 Workshop for the Duke community. We had a great turnout, even with it being four hours on a beautiful Saturday, with 29 students from both undergraduate and graduate programs coming out to learn about social entrepreneurship so as to work on their own ideas or be inspired. Many commented that they hadn’t had other opportunities at Duke to learn about social entrepreneurship and were excited for the workshop. They also contributed great ideas for topics of future workshops. A great start to getting more students on campus engaged in social entrepreneurship!
