Operations and Events Specialist
Aspen Bilal serves as the Operations and Events Specialist at Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In this role she supports program operations, event coordination, and office management.
Aspen holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from North Carolina State University, where she focused on regional security and international affairs. During her academic career she studied abroad in Japan, exploring Japanese history, culture, and cross-cultural perspectives. That experience strengthened her interest in international education and helped inspire her passion for student success and meaningful learning experiences.
Prior to joining I&E, Aspen gained extensive experience in customer and student-facing roles where she coordinated teams, managed daily operations, and supported large-scale programs and events. She is excited to join Duke I&E’s mission of empowering students to explore and develop ideas.
