Senior Program Coordinator, Education
Kyle Williams is part of the education team at Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship, working primarily on the I&E Certificate programs. He focuses on student advising, program outreach, and administration of the Undergraduate Certificate.
Kyle previously ran curriculum, marketing and recruiting for the ESTEEM Graduate Program at Notre Dame and has over 7 years’ experience teaching and managing programs at the university level. Prior to Notre Dame, Kyle directed community-based land conservation initiatives at Athens Land Trust, and developed courses that use Design Thinking and innovation tools to increase students’ self-efficacy and empower them to imagine and create authentic, engaged lives at the Stanford Life Design Lab. Other past lives include work as a Community Forester with the Urban Resources Initiative in New Haven, CT; design development for MASS Design Group in Boston, MA, and Port-au-Prince, Haiti; and teaching elementary math in Loja, Ecuador.
Kyle has a MS in Design from Stanford University and a MESc in Urban Ecology from Yale University. He earned a BA in French and a BS in Math from Hope College in Holland, MI, and speaks French, Portuguese, and Spanish. His wife is in Romance Studies at Duke and they keep busy outside of work with their two kids.
