Spring 2025 Pop-ups
Social Media for Entrepreneurs

Most entrepreneurs focus on building their product before building their audience—but what if that’s backwards? Thanks to social media, founders can grow huge audiences without having a specific product in mind. Once they create a product, their audience is already established, which can be key to entrepreneurial success. On February 19 at 1:30pm in the Duke I&E Bullpen, explore the importance of audience for entrepreneurs and learn core concepts and techniques for creating a successful social media strategy. This session will be taught by Duke I&E senior lecturing fellow Aaron Dinin, who has more than 400K followers across social platforms and has been featured on Today, Bloomberg, and Wired for his work teaching students to leverage their social platforms.
How You Can (and Should!) Build Your Startup

If you’re building a product—or planning to—doing it the right way from the start can help you avoid costly mistakes, streamline your process, and create something truly valuable. On February 20 at 4pm in the Duke I&E Bullpen, join us for an insightful session with experienced entrepreneur and product leader Max Stern ’17. Learn key strategies for building and scaling products effectively, from idea to execution. Whether you're a founder, builder, or simply curious about startups, get actionable takeaways to help you create with confidence.
IP 101: An Intellectual Property Workshop for Student Entrepreneurs

If you have a venture—or want to start one someday—an understanding of intellectual property law is crucial to protect your ideas and brand identity, establish competitive advantage, avoid legal disputes, and gain investment opportunities. This dynamic workshop will equip you with the knowledge to protect your intellectual assets, navigate legal challenges, and position your venture for success.
