Wednesday, 3/26, 1:30-2:45pm, HCA Auditorium (Fuqua)

Most entrepreneurs focus on building their product before building their audience—but what if that’s backwards? Thanks to social media, founders can grow huge audiences without having a specific product in mind. Once they create a product, their audience is already established, which can be key to entrepreneurial success. Explore the importance of audience for entrepreneurs and learn core concepts and techniques for creating a successful social media strategy. This session will be taught by Duke I&E senior lecturing fellow Aaron Dinin, who has more than 400K followers across social platforms and has been featured on Today, Bloomberg, and Wired for his work teaching students to leverage their social platforms.
