Are you fascinated by the startups shaping tomorrow’s world? Curious about how bold ideas get funded—and how you could be part of it? Join us for a hands-on, five-part workshop series that pulls back the curtain on the fast-paced world of venture capital. Designed specifically for Duke undergrads, this series will introduce you to the fundamentals of VC, from how firms source and evaluate deals to how you can land a role in the industry without an MBA.
At Duke I&E, VC Foundations Workshop sessions are typically held on Thursdays at 6:30pm in the Bullpen during the fall semester.
Led by Duke alumni working in venture capital today, each session is packed with real-world insight, interactive discussions, and actionable takeaways. Whether you're eyeing a career in VC, considering a future startup, or just want to understand how innovation gets funded, this series will give you a powerful head start.
No experience needed—just curiosity, ambition, and the drive to learn. Open to all Duke students.
