ChangeWorks is a social entrepreneurship competition on Duke’s campus that provides a platform of guidance and funding for Duke students to pursue a business idea that proposes an innovative solution to a real world social problem. The competition is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, and the winners are chosen by the selected judges.
The Duke Start-Up Challenge encourages and enables students, alumni, and faculty to plan and launch their own businesses and offers budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive feedback from experienced professionals, access to dedicated resources and facilities, and the opportunity to win seed capital. A top prize of $50,000 is awarded.
