Whether you're refining your business model, building a prototype, or seeking legal guidance, this fund helps remove financial barriers so you can focus on what matters: progress.
Examples of past uses of the fund:
- Creating an LLC
- Creating a website
- Hiring a data and operations manager to build and implement dashboards
- Purchasing a small run of product
- Purchasing AI support tools
- Refreshing the company brand and design
- Purchasing wearable hardware for users to test a product
Eligibility
Duke I&E faculty, staff, and coaches nominate students to access funding from the Alison Bernstein Venture Activation Fund. The nominees are actively working on their ventures and are highly engaged with Duke I&E.
