Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC)
Hosted annually by UNC Kenan-Flagler, the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) is the world’s largest venture capital competition, giving students the chance to step into the role of a venture capitalist. Competing teams analyze real startups, conduct due diligence, and present investment recommendations to experienced VC judges.
Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship partners with the Duke Venture Group and the Fuqua Private Capital Club to prepare students through an internal competition. The winning undergraduate and MBA teams from Duke advance to represent the university at VCIC, competing against top schools from around the globe.
This unique opportunity allows students to sharpen their investment acumen, network with entrepreneurs and investors, and gain hands-on experience in venture capital decision-making.
