While our faculty and staff members represent a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and areas of interest, they’re all dedicated to a common goal—supporting the Duke community in changing the world through entrepreneurial action.
Kimbra Essex is a creative who received her Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Ball State University. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana she ventured to New York City, Los Angeles, and Detroit to pursue film and theater. She has a Master of Fine Arts from the New York Film Academy and has worked on a variety of projects in entertainment. She has served in the Americorps in partnership with the United Way and the Indianapolis Public Schools where she taught 2nd grade students how to read.
