Welcome to the Bullpen

The Luby Family Bullpen, made possible by a generous donation from William K. Luby MBA ’85 and Eileen O. Luby, is located at The Fuqua School of Business in the lowest level of the Fox Student Center just below the Kirby Winter Garden. The Bullpen features classroom space, office space, and event space, as well as cutting-edge A/V capabilities. (Also, the food at the Fox Center Café—located just upstairs—is outstanding.)

Our home at Fuqua lets us provide Fuqua students increased connection and collaboration with the rest of Duke, whereas those outside of Fuqua gain access to some of the resources and faculty expertise of a top-tier business school.

The Bullpen is an energizing hub for innovators and entrepreneurs from across Duke—a place where students, alumni, faculty, staff, and visitors can gather to learn, connect, work, and spark new ideas together.

Accessing the Bullpen

The Bullpen is available to students Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm. During these hours, we also host events and classes.

To check whether the Bullpen is available during a time you’d like to visit, please check the availability calendar

If you are working on a startup venture, and would like permission to access the Bullpen space outside of standard hours (e.g., on weekends or evenings), please email Solomon Valentine with the details of your venture and a spreadsheet that includes the full names, NetIDs, and Duke unique IDs of the members of your venture who will also need access. Please note that this special access does not give you permission to host events in the Bullpen, but rather to use the Bullpen as a collaboration space to work on your startup venture.
