Program Manager, Education

Anna Jacobs works in the education segment of the Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, primarily with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate program, helping students develop meaningful cross-disciplinary experiences during their time at Duke. Anna focuses on certificate student advising, mentorship, and experiential learning opportunities.

Prior to joining the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, Anna was a Client Relationship Manager at Coleman Research, a primary research firm serving the institutional investment community. During her tenure there she led a team working with top-tier management consulting firms on facilitating consultations with industry experts as part of their investment due diligence process.

Before her time at Coleman, Anna worked for AMIDEAST in Washington, DC managing the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Middle East and North Africa on behalf of the State Department. She advised students from Syria, Lebanon and Morocco on their graduate school applications and placements, academic course load, immigration process.

Anna is from Indianapolis, IN. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies with minors in Middle East and Islamic Studies and French from Miami University. Anna leverages her experience advising Fulbright students and her time managing investment research projects to provide our students at I&E with the skills to identify solutions to complex problems.
