Courtney brings 15 years of both investing and operating experience as Founder and CEO of Aesthetic Partners (AP). She and Faraz Karbasi started AP as a search fund while completing their MBAs, and have grown the business into one of the largest search-acquired enterprises in existence today. Previously, Courtney worked in private equity at The Carlyle Group investing out of their flagship buyout fund, and at Deutsche Bank in investment banking. She has specialized in Healthcare her entire career.
Courtney earned her B.S. in Economics from Duke University and her MBA from Harvard Business School. While at Duke, she played on the golf team while competing in several US Opens and LPGA events. Now that she’s ‘retired’ from competition, in her free time she enjoys cycling, skiing, attempting to keep up her golf game, and backpacking through national parks in remote parts of the United States and the world.
