Principal, East Bay Refrigeration
Kelly Rapp is the President and Owner of East Bay Refrigeration, a commercial refrigeration service company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He acquired the business through a self-funded search and is supported by a team of investors.
Before his search, Kelly was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, a management consultant at Accenture, and chief of staff at Fresenius Health Partners. He grew up in Iowa in a family of serial small business owner-operators. His passion for entrepreneurship through acquisition is to combine the values and work ethic from that upbringing with the strategic and operational skills gained through his professional career and education.
Kelly earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 2021, where he met his wife, Amy. He received his BBA from Baylor University, where he served as Student Body President and was a member of the Board of Regents. Kelly and Amy live in the Bay Area with their son, Brooks, their dog, Houston, and they are expecting their second son in December 2025.
