Linh is a professional with a Bachelor's degree in Biology & Chemistry and a Master's in Business Administration, both obtained from Duke University. With a career spanning over 25 years, he initially entered the financial services sector, specializing in structuring retirement plans, mutual funds, and 401(k)s. During this time, Linh collaborated extensively with entrepreneurs, helping them achieve their financial objectives for over a decade.
Subsequently, Linh diversified his ventures by acquiring multiple businesses in the services sector. Under his leadership, these companies experienced remarkable growth, scaling operations by a factor of 10. Linh also demonstrated proficiency in managing his private debt ladder and overseeing a successful private equity portfolio.
Today, as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Apex Fund Group, Linh helps lead investments in both private debt and acquisitions, partnering with entrepreneurs and investors to accelerate growth and create generational wealth. Apex focuses on self-funded search and independent sponsor deals, typically making minority investments so that the searcher maintains majority ownership and entrepreneurial control.
In addition to his business accomplishments, Linh is recognized as an expert in Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (ETA). He frequently shares his insights at prestigious MBA schools, contributing to the discourse on this rapidly expanding niche within private equity.
