President & Managing Director, Elia & Partners, LLC
Mike Elia is Managing Director of Elia & Partners, LLC, which provides M&A advisory, strategic and business planning services to public and private small- and middle-market companies and start-ups, and assumes temporary C-suite roles to assist companies during transitional periods.
Mike currently serves as an advisor to the owner of United Record Pressing in Nashville, TN; CEO of Triad Fitness Group, developer of the mobile workout builder and sharing platform TriadXP for independent trainers; and advisor to ProMed, creator of a smart blister pack for medication adherence. He has also served as a strategic advisor to AVID Products, Inc. and was a board member for SEDDI, a developer of cloud-native digital product creation solutions for the apparel industry.
Previously, Mike was President and Chief Executive Officer of Gerber Scientific, Inc., and served on its Board until April 2018. Gerber Scientific is a provider of automated equipment systems and software solutions that enable customers worldwide to design, manufacture, and sell products made from textiles, leather, composites, and other flexible materials. He joined Gerber in April 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Before joining Gerber, Mike was Senior Vice President and CFO of FastenTech, Inc., a global producer of engineered components and specialty fasteners, where he led the company’s M&A activity in addition to his finance responsibilities. Earlier in his career, he was CFO of Insilco Holding Company, a diversified manufacturer of electronic and telecommunications products, and CFO of Jordan Telecommunications Products, Inc., a global manufacturer of communication infrastructure products and electronic components.
