Senior Program Coordinator
Solomon Valentine is a part of the co-curricular education team at Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He focuses on the coordination, implementation, and administration of University-wide programs for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Prior to Joining I&E, Solomon spent over a decade working in Nursing Education. Solomon has facilitated faculty appointments and promotions, managed clinical compliance at the undergraduate and graduate level, and managed a robust portfolio of certifications and trainings though his work at the Duke University School of Nursing and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing. Prior to this he worked post-secondary education for students with disabilities. Solomon is a Durham native, by way of Connecticut.
He received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and his master’s degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University. Solomon offers 15+ years of experience in academic administration and customer service, with a unique background in administration, marketing, project management, and policy implementation.
