Walker Hobson is a Co-Founder and Partner at EverPine Holdings, an operator-founded investment firm that seeks to acquire and build essential, founder-led businesses across the Southeastern United States. EverPine provides patient capital and takes a long-term approach to supporting leadership transitions, organic growth, and responsible capital allocation.
Prior to founding EverPine, Walker founded and served as CEO of Yard Alliance, a residential landscaping platform. Previously, Walker was a Director at WSC & Company, where he helped lead search fund investing, portfolio company management, and CEO recruitment. He began his professional career in the Diversified Industrials and Services investment banking group at Piper Sandler.
Walker’s involvement with Entrepreneurship through Acquisition at Duke began when he helped launch Fuqua’s ETA course. Earlier in his career, he served as an Airborne Infantry officer in the U.S. Army, where he led teams at Fort Bragg.
Walker earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he was a Coach K Leadership Fellow, and his BBA in Finance from Stetson University. Walker's wife is a double Duke graduate and their kids are already Duke fanatics.
